Some 2006 Acura MDX SUVs may emit a popping or clunking sound from the front suspension while making turns. One likely cause, Acura reported, is the power-steering gear retaining bolts loosening at the subframe.
Installing new-design retaining bolts, part No. 90161-SJC-A00, at the pinion shaft area should help prevent further noise issues.
