TireBuyer.com has unveiled a new brand identity that it says features several improvements that will enhance the shopping experience for consumers.

KIRKLAND, Wash. — TireBuyer.com, American Tire Distributor Inc.'s (ATD) online tire sales platform, has unveiled a new brand identity that it says features several improvements that will enhance the shopping experience for consumers.

The enhancements include a new product recommendation engine, easy search tools, proprietary fitments, seasonal updates and deals and enhanced mobile compatibility for shoppers in a hurry.

Mark Staudinger, president of TireBuyer, said the business wants to reduce the complexity of tire shopping.

"As consumers' needs evolve, so does our online platform, making it easier than ever for shoppers to get the tires, wheels and a growing selection of automotive products they need — where and when they need them," Mr. Staudinger said.

The TireBuyer.com website, which was launched in September 2009, was redesigned and upgraded in 2012 with a new technology platform.

Mr. Staudinger said TireBuyer.com's features will give shoppers more confidence when they shop for tires.

"With easy search tools, personalized recommendations, proprietary fitments and enhanced mobile capability, we are continuing to raise the bar for our shoppers and in doing so, we're helping transform the tire industry in the digital age," Mr. Staudinger said.

According to ATD, North America's largest aftermarket tire distributor, TireBuyer shoppers have access to more than 3 million tires in stock, as well as to nearly 10,000 tire dealers and automotive service centers where consumers can choose to have their tires be installed professionally.

The site also offers an "Installer Advantage" program that guarantees install rates, provides 45-day returns, free shipping and free returns.
