COMPTON, Calif. — Transamerican Auto Parts has redesigned the website of its 4 Wheel Parts retail business to enhance the site's user experience.
Among the site's new features are an enhanced search function with predictive text to make product lookups quick and efficient, a "set it and forget it" vehicle selector for narrowed search parameters, a new items page for the latest products and detailed customer reviews.
The checkout process has been simplified to three steps from five, and all data run on the ACES and PIES formats to conform with industry best practices.
The revamped site, 4wheelparts.com, also features an updated design for clean presentation on both mobile and desktop platforms.
"We're excited to meet this major milestone in our omnichannel strategy and look forward to the profitable growth this stable platform will provide in the years to come," Brian Rowland, senior director of marketing, said.
"This site launch isn't the finish line — it's just the beginning."
With 92 retail stores open and more being built, 4 Wheel Parts claims to be the largest retailer and installer of off-road tires and wheels, suspension products and accessories for Jeeps, SUVs and light trucks in North America. Transamerican Auto Parts and 4 Wheel Parts are wholly owned subsidiaries of Polaris Industries Inc.
