DAVIDSON, N.C. — Ingersoll Rand P.L.C. will introduce the IQV20 Series W7152 1/2-inch Impact Wrench during the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Oct. 30-Nov. 2.
The 8.1-inch-long cordless impact wrench delivers 1,500-ft.-lbs. of torque and 1,000-ft.-lbs. of max reverse torque, the company said.
The compact brushless motor transfers energy to deliver accurate torque for repair and maintenance applications, including work on transmissions, suspensions, sub-frame bolts, transmission pans, struts and more, the company said.
The W7152 has four power and control settings — "max power" that delivers up to 1,000-ft.-lbs., "half power" up to 530-ft.-lbs. of torque, "wrench tight" to pre-tighten bolts at 35-110-ft.-lbs. and "hand tight" for such jobs as starting a lug bolt to hold a wheel in place. Each setting operates at maximum reverse torque.
Other features include:
- Chemical-resistant composite housing and a patented steel-reinforced frame to withstand harsh working conditions;
- A steel-reinforced frame;
- A 20-volt battery compatible with the Ingersoll Rand IQV20 Series battery system; and
- A shadowless, LED task light with four settings for high-, medium- and low-light environments.
The W7152 also is available with a 2-inch extended anvil for use on tires or a pin anvil for applications with additional safety requirements, such as railroads, municipalities or transit systems.
