AKRON — Goodyear Chairman, CEO and President Rich Kramer is slated to deliver his keynote address on Sept. 12, the second day of the three-day International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC) at Akron's John S. Knight Center.
The Goodyear leader's address is titled "Miles Ahead — Tires and the New Mobility Ecosystem." His talk begins at 11:10 a.m. and will be followed by lunch in Goodyear rooms A-B.
In addition to the keynote speech, ITEC features more than 50 paper presentations in eight separate tracks that focus on critical issues for tire manufacturers. Also taking place at ITEC are two courses attendees can sign up to attend: Tire Mechanics Symposium and Rubber Extrusion Technology.
While at ITEC, attendees also will have the opportunity to visit the trade show floor featuring 90 exhibitors.
ITEC, North America's largest conference and trade show for the tire manufacturing industry, opens Sept. 11 and runs through Sept. 13. The event attracts tire manufacturing personnel from throughout the U.S. and North America as well as approximately 20 countries worldwide. More than 1,500 attendees are expected during the three days.
