ST. LOUIS — Carlisle Companies' Accella Tire Fill Systems agsin has partnered with American Forests, a non-profit conservation organization, to replant thousands of trees in areas devastated by forest fires.
This year, as part of its "One Tote, One Tree" sustainability campaign, Accella and its customers and dealers specifically will assist with the reforestation of the El Dorado National Fores located in Northern California that was devastated by the 2014 King Fire.
Accella, which manufactures polyurethane fill, including TyrFil Flatproofing, for pneumatic industrial and commercial tires,will plant one tree for each tote of product sold, with a minimum of 25,000 new trees annually.
Over the course of nearly a decade, the company's "One Tote, One Tree" initiative has been responsible for the replanting of more than 164,000 trees, the company said.
