MILWAUKEE — Tire and wheel software provider TCS Technologies has begun integrating Tiremetrix L.L.C.'s Tire Registration Plus into its Tire Power and TireWorks HD software interfaces.

TCS, an ARI Network Services Inc. company, said the integration will help dealers send more accurate records to tire manufacturers with Department of Transportation (DOT) number validation, helping to eliminate the chance of servicing an aged or recalled tire.

In the event of a recall, dealers can identify affected customers, retrieve registration records and get vital information directly from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), TCS said.

Tire Power and TireWorks HD are tailored specifically to the tire and automotive repair dealer, TCS and Tiremetrix said. Each software product features a robust interface designed to save time and improve a dealer's day-to-day operations, they said.

Mark Davis, director and general manager, software products for Milwakee-based ARI Network Services, said Tiremetrix is changing how auto repair shops interact with clients, "especially when it comes to DOT registration."

He said Tire Registration Plus provides "an easy-to-learn, easy-to-use solution for collectively overseeing all aspects of TPMS and DOT registration management. This great partnership brings even more value and potential profit to all of our customers."

Joe Donehue, president of Tiremetix, an automotive information software provider, said the Tire Registration Plus software will be a "tremendous value" to TCS dealers, "making the process easier and more accurate."

Brighton, Mich.-based Tiremetrix is an automotive information software company that specializes in tire-pressure-monitoring systems (TPMS), tire recall and tire registration data.

More information on the software is available at tcstire.com or by calling 888-449-8473.
