BOONE, Iowa —Specialty tire manufacturer Global Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. (GRI) plans to launch its latest agricultural tires, the Green XLR 70 and 85, as well as its range of flotation, tractor and implement tires, during the Farm Progress Show, to be held Aug. 28-30 in Boone.

The Colombo, Sri Lanka-based tire maker said the Green XLR 70 and 85 offer a combination of radial technology, tread design, strong carcass and impac ply that delivers a longer service life with high resistance against wear and cuts.

The tread structure and wide footprint maintain grip on soft surfaces, allowing minimum soil compaction.

Other tires to be showcased are:

    • The Green EX FL700, a high-traction, general-purpose flotation tire with a wide, round tread design and heavy load capacity at low inflation pressure that reduces soil compaction. GRI said its generous high tread depth and special compound provide superior field traction and promote long wear.

    • The Green EX RT100 bias tractor tire, which is specialized for on- and off-road use. The tire's tie-bar design provides hard surface lug stability and the 45-degree bar angle improves traction on sloped surfaces, GRI said, while the shoulder bar angle enhances traction on flat surfaces.

    • The Green EX RIB3, an implement tire, features raised center ribs and angled criss-cross grooves, increasing road life. The nylon carcass construction and cut/wear-resistant compounds increase productivity, GRI said, while its shock-fortified nylon-cord body resists stubble damage.

The show features more than 600 exhibitors, including manufacturers and suppliers of farm equipment and tires from around the world.
