PANAMA CITY — More than 2,500 visitors attended the fifth annual Latin Auto Parts Expo, held recently at the Atlapa Convention Center.
Exhibitors, which numbered more than 300, presented a wide range of auto parts, such as accessories, components, repair and maintenance parts, auto body and adjustments, tools and equipment, chemical products, lubricants and car care, auto diagnosis and car paint, among various others products.
Michael Dunne, an expert on electric and autonomous vehicle, discussed how China's global ambitions are unleashing a commotion in the automotive technology industry with rapid change worldwide during his keynote address. Mr. Dunne's speech was part of the educational conference, which included presentations by leaders in the automotive industry.
Max Douglas of Berryman Products Inc., a Dallas-based maker of engine performance products, said the expo was "very professionally executed," and said he was "pleased with the results and leads accumulated."
