PANAMA CITY — Michael Dunne, an expert on electric and autonomous vehicles, will deliver the keynote address at the Latin Auto Parts Expo, to be held July 25-27 at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City.
Mr. Dunne has been involved in the of Asian auto industry for almost three decades, as a founder of his own company, as CEO of J.D. Power in China and at General Motors Co. operations in Indonesia.
In his keynote address, Mr. Dunne will discuss how China's global ambitions is triggering upheaval in the world's fast-changing auto-tech industry.
Mr. Dunne also will discuss China's strategic policies for auto-tech revolution (made in China 2025); Key milestones: Tech revolution in China's automotive industry 2015-2020; China road map to electric, autonomous and ride-sharing leadership by 2030; and successes and pitfalls of entering markets in the Americas and Europe
The keynote address will be held July 26 from 12:45 to 1 p.m. in the Salón Portobello, located on the second floor of the Atlapa Convention Center. The talk will be part of the expo's educational conference. A question-and-answer session will be held after the presentations.
