    ATLANTA — TireHub L.L.C., the new national tire distributor co-owned by Bridgestone Americas Inc. and Goodyear, has started accepting customer orders at its nationwide network of sales and logistics centers.

    TireHub will go to market with one national sales team, giving dealers a single point of contact for products from both Goodyear and Bridgestone.

    According to its website, TireHub also is offering Toyo-brand products, which Bridgestone has been carrying in its Firestone Complete Auto Care retail stores since mid-2015 as a complementary brand.

    In addition, the company will launch web technology to simplify product searching, ordering, delivery tracking and payment, the company said.

    "From customer service to product search to tire delivery, TireHub is set up to better serve tire dealers and retailers. Fulfilling the needs of our customers will always be our guiding compass," TireHub CEO Peter Gibbons said.

    "There is nothing more important to us than delivering an incredible customer experience so that our dealers and retailers have a tire distributor who makes business easy and increases their bottom line."

    TireHub said it has assembled a team of experienced tire industry executives to support the distribution business, including:

    • Scott King, chief financial officer, formerly senior vice president of strategy and business development for Goodyear;
    • Ned Aguilar, vice president of sales and marketing, formerly vice president of business development, consumer integrated division, for Bridgestone Americas;
    • Chris Robinson, director of sales, previously director of wholesale distribution for Goodyear; and
    • Wade Foster, national sales manager, formerly region manager for Bridgestone Tire Wholesale Warehouse.
