COLUMBUS, Ohio — Solid tire and rubber track supplier Midwest Equipment Sales L.L.C. (MWE) has acquired Nighthawk Machinery L.L.C., the Rosenburg, Texas-based supplier of Dura-Flex solid tires and Dura-Core rubber tracks.
"MWE's solid tire and rubber track business is growing," MWE President James Cline said. "To prepare for that growth, we're expanding our product portfolio. No matter what the application or duty cycle, our knowledgeable team will make sure our customers get what they need."
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Columbus-based MWE — which describes itself as a provider of rubber tracks, skid-steer tires and undercarriage parts for construction equipment manufacturers and dealers — operates wholesale distribution centers in Woodbine, Ga.; Shreveport, La.; Lacey, Wash.; and Columbus, with combined warehousing capacity of 200,000 square feet.
