HOT SPRINGS, Va. — The Virginia Automotive Association (VAA) installed John Kline of Old Dominion Tire Services in Midlothian, Va., as its president, during the VAA Annual Convention and Trade Expo, April 13-15, at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs.
Mr. Kline succeeds Scott Brown of Cardinal Plaza Shell in Springfield. Chris Barnett of Tire Tread Services in Fredericksburg is the group's president-elect and Jerry Tatum of Leete Tire & Auto Service in Petersburg continues as secretary-treasurer.
New board members include: S.T. Billingsley, B&W Associates, Woodbridge; Andrea Ellett, Winding Brook Tire Pros, Milford; and Kim Taylor, Titan Auto & Tire, S. Chesterfield.
The expo included 76 exhibitor booths and drew more than 450 attendees and exhibitors, according to the association.
The VAA will host its 2019 trade show at the Hilton Norfolk The Main in Norfolk, Va., April 12-14.
