BLUE BELL, Pa. — MAM Software Inc.'s inaugural MAM Software Customer Conference for Autopart and VAST customers attracted more than 100 attendees from 52 companies.
Held April 16-18 at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, the conference focused on the latest MAM Software products and features and the road map for future development, MAM Software said.
Companies represented at the vendor fair, held in conjunction with the event, were: Demandforce Inc.; Elite Extra; Phocas Inc.; Carfax Inc.; Tiremetrix L.L.C.; BAYiQ Inc.; Clutch Technologies L.L.C.; 1stMILE/Merchant Partners L.L.C.; CenPOS; and TireWeb Connections USA Inc.
The conference featured live demonstrations of upcoming products: MAM Commerce, Autocat and VAST Online; roundtable discussions; one-on-one time with MAM Software support staff; and networking events.
Mike Jamieson, CEO of MAM Software, a subsidiary of MAM Software Group Inc., said the insight the company gained from listening to customers is invaluable.
"The general feedback was both positive and constructive, and we will take this into consideration when preparing for the next event," Mr. Jamieson said.
"We wanted to hear from our customers how we could better serve them, as well as show them how invested we are in enhancing our products. Our objective was to create a conference that was tailored toward customer engagement, and we believe we did just that."
MAM, which provides cloud-based business management solutions for the auto parts, tire and vertical distribution industries, said it received several positive comments about the event from attendees.
"Having the conference is the difference between having a software vendor and a relationship with a software company," said Cale Tallman of Tallman's Tire & Auto Repair of Suffern, N.Y.
"Your business and ours have one thing in common (other than software)...We are in the people business," said Don Francis of Plaza Tire Service of Missouri.
