Drivers of 2002-04 Ford Mustangs may complain of a creaking or squeaking noise from the front end while turning.
Before you go into complicated front suspension diagnosis, check the retaining tube brackets at the steering rack. Ford reports that the brackets often expand, which causes the steering gear to move on the crossmember when the steering wheel is turned. Installing two redesigned tube brackets, part No. E5DZ-3K620-A, should put a quick end to the noise.
