LAS VEGAS — A dozen tire makers/distributors and a handful of tire service sector suppliers are among the hundreds of exhibitors on tap at WasteExpo 2018, set for April 23-26 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The organizers of the annual WasteExpo are expecting attendance to top 12,000 this year, attracted by the event's conference program and trade show, featuring 600-plus exhibitors.

The conference program, produced in partnership with the National Waste & Recycling Organization (NWRA) and Stu Buckner, president of Buckner Environmental Associates L.L.C., features 36 presentations over three days covering four main areas — innovation and advancement; application and implementation; rules, regs and policies; and business acumen and insights.

Tire suppliers scheduled to exhibit include:

Advance Tire Inc.; Alliance Tire Group; Bridgestone Americas (and Bridgestone's GCR Tires & Service business); Continental Tire the Americas; Goodyear; Magna Tyres Group; Maxam Tire North America Inc.; Michelin North America Inc.; SETCO Solid Tire & Rim; Sumitomo Tires/TBC Corp.; Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas Inc.; and Ty Cushion Tire.

In promotional material leading up to the show:

TBC said it will be exhibiting a range of Sumitomo- and Sailun-brand mixed service tires for use in the refuse and waste industries. Expo participants will have a chance to win tires during the expo by registering at the TBC booth (No. 3101).

Other exhibitors with ties to the tire servicing sector include:

Liquitube Tire Sealant; Multi-Seal Corp.; Onspot Automatic Tire Chains; Pewag Traction; Trojan Tire Inc.; and Vipal Rubber Corp.
