WASHINGTON—The U.S. Department of Commerce has revised the countervailing duty rate it found for Guizhou Tyre Co. Ltd. in an administrative review of off-the-road tires imported from China for the entire year of 2015.
The new rate for Guizhou is 31.49 percent, according to a Federal Register notice published April 13. This is down from the 39.10 percent Commerce assessed in a notice published Oct. 6, 2017.
Guizhou's new rate is the same Commerce levied on all non-selected OTR tire companies under review, according to the April 13 notice.
However, the countervailing duty rate for Xuxhou Xugong Tyres Co. Ltd. remains unchanged after further review, at 91.94 percent.
