JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — A bill that would repeal Missouri's vehicle safety inspection program has passed the Missouri House Rules Committee.
The 7-4 vote on April 10 makes Missouri House Bill 1444 eligible for consideration on the Missouri House floor, according to the Automotive Service Association (ASA), which opposes the bill.
The ASA is urging its Missouri members and other interested parties to visit TakingTheHill.com, the ASA's legislative advocacy website and click on the "Alerts" section to contact their state representatives in opposition to the bill.
