JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Auto Service Association (ASA) is urging its Missouri members to contact their state legislators to oppose a bill that would repeal the state's vehicle safety inspection program.
Missouri House Bill 1444 passed the Missouri House Transportation Committee April 2, despite testimony opposing the bill at a Feb. 7 hearing by ASA-Midwest, AAA, the Missouri state highway patrol and others.
ASA members and other interested parties may visit TakingTheHill.com, the ASA's legislative website, for details on how to contact Missouri legislators in opposition to HB 1444.
