    SAN DIMAS, Calif. — Nexen Tire America Inc. has launched an educational portal at NexenACE.com, for tire industry professionals to learn about the company's marketing efforts and sales.

    Nexen said the online portal will give tire dealers:

    • The latest on the Nexen brand, motorsports and overall tire industry news;

    • Complete tire training modules to improve their customer service and marketing capabilities

    • The ability to earn points toward purchases on the Nexen Tire Store; and

    • Access to Nexen branded gear and premium quarterly giveaways like cash, electronics and vacations.

    Nexen said it plans to add training modules through the year and encourages dealers to visit frequently to maximize earning potential. Users will receive notifications when new content is available.

    Kyle Roberts, senior director of marketing for Nexen Tire America, said the best part of the portal is the ability to train anybody, anywhere, at any time.

    "Nexen is still a relatively new brand in the U.S., and many tire professionals don't know the entire story behind our success," he said.

    "Our training program will be an invaluable tool for those just starting out with our brand, as well as already-established Nexen dealers who are looking to take their efforts to the next level."

    Mr. Roberts said the portal is open to all Nexen partners including shop owners, wholesaler reps, tire techs and any other professionals interested in Nexen's products and activities.

    Tire professionals gain access to the training videos after registering. A short validation period will follow, and then they will be able to edeem earned points within 72 hours.
