WASHINGTON — The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries has released its 2018 Advocacy Agenda in advance of its 2018 Convention and Exposition, scheduled for April 14-19 in Las Vegas.
The 2018 Agenda highlights the recycling industry's priorities at the local, state, federal and international levels related to the following issues:
- Taxes and the Economy;
- International Trade;
- Energy and the Environment;
- Transportation & Infrastructure Development;
- Workplace Safety Initiatives; and
- Regulatory Policy.
"The advocacy agenda serves as one of the many ways in which ISRI promotes safe, economically sustainable and environmentally responsible recycling," ISRI said.
The ISRI 2018 Convention and Exposition will be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas.
