PHILADELPHIA — SimpleTire, an online tire retailer, has launched a new feature on its website that allows customers to schedule their installation appointments with service centers in its nationwide network.
In addition to shipping tires to a service center of their choice, customers now can schedule their mounting and balancing during the checkout process by selecting an available date and time that fits their schedule, the company said.
Availability for each service center is collected and integrated into SimpleTire's scheduling system, which is designed to drive new online customers to their shops.
"We are constantly looking for ways to innovate and offer new solutions for growing our network's businesses. From ongoing customer feedback and research, we know that more customers are buying tires online and want to schedule the installation online as well," said SimpleTire CEO, Andy Chalofsky.
The number of nationwide service centers in SimpleTire's network has exceeded 10,000. Large national partners include Pep Boys—Manny, Moe & Jack, Monro Muffler Brake & Service and Mavis Discount Tire.
SimpleTire sells tires in all categories, including passenger, light truck, commercial, agriculture, OTR, industrial, ATV, antique and various specialties.
