LONG BEACH, Calif. — Tenneco Inc.'s Rancho performance brand has introduced a new 6-inch suspension system for 2018-17 Ford F-150 pickup trucks.
The new system, Part No. RS66506B, was designed with performance-minded drivers in mind and offers strength, durability and performance no matter what the terrain, according to Tenneco.
Made of high-strength, low-alloy steel and DOM tubing, the new suspension system is designed to reduce vibration and ride harshness, Tenneco claims, while offering OE-level quality.
The new suspension system features a reinforced, fully boxed welded subframe and was engineered for precise fit, which helps to maintain proper CV joint and drive shaft angles, steering geometry, track width and factory location of the rack and pinion, Tenneco said.
A pair of bolt-on, 6-inch strut spacers for the front of the vehicle are intended to be installed easily without the need to disassemble the factory struts.
Other kit features include CNC-machined extended steering knuckles, CV spacers, brake line brackets, sway bar relocation brackets, rear leaf spring blocks and other necessary hardware.
No drivetrain modifications are required for the system, Tenneco said, adding that it uses OE tie rod ends and fits tires up to 35 inches.
Each Rancho suspension kit is backed by Rancho's Limited Lifetime Warranty. For more about the suspension kit and its warranty or to learn more about other Rancho suspension products and shocks, visit GoRancho.com.
