FCA specs 2 Bridgestone Dueler models OE on Ram 1500

DETROIT — FCA U.S. L.L.C. has selected the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza and Dueler H/T 685 as OE fitments on several trim levels of its 2019 Ram 1500 full-size pickup.

The Dueler H/L Alenza is standard equipment on Ram 1500 Laramie, Longhorn and Limited models in size 275/55R20, Bridgestone said, and optional on Ram 1500 Big Horn, LoneStar and Laramie models in size 275/55R20.

Additionally, FCA is offering the Dueler H/T 685 as standard equipment on the Ram 1500 Tradesman heavy-duty model in size 275/65R18.

The Dueler H/L Alenza is the fourth OE tire fitment announced thus far the redesigned and re-engineered Ram 1500, which debuted at the at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January. Other fitments announced previously include: Falken Wildpeak A/T 3WA in two sizes — LT275/65R18C 113/110S and 275/55R20 113T; Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrec tires for the Quad Cab configuration; and Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 in size LT265/70R17.

Bridgestone describes the Dueler H/L Alenza as a tire is engineered for drivers looking for a premium tire built to deliver a comfortable ride and optimized to perform in all seasons with strong grip in light snow and rain. It's available with black or white sidewall lettering.

FCA also specs the Dueler H/L Alenza Plus for the 2019 Jeep Cherokee Overland model in size in size P235/50R19.

Bridgestone last updated the Dueler H/L Alenza line in 2014 with the "Plus" model.
