NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, Mass. — Sullivan Tire & Auto Service has teamed with Boston Red Sox mascot Wally the Green Monster and Big League Brian on a new television advertising campaign that celebrates New England's love of baseball.
The two spots, "Search for Big Foot" and "Green Monstah! Lemonade," feature local kids alongside Wally and Brian, who is well known to the Fenway faithful he greets from atop his stilts at each home game. The commercial segments began airing over the weekend on the New England Sports Network (NESN) and other cable networks.
"Introducing Wally the Green Monster, the Red Sox mascot, as a feature in this year's TV spots continues our tradition of creating fun and lighthearted family entertainment for the viewers of our beloved Red Sox," said Paul Sullivan, vice president of marketing for Sullivan Tire.
Beginning March 17 and continuing while supplies last, Sullivan Tire locations will be giving away Red Sox regular season schedule magnets, each featuring Wally. The beloved mascot also will be a familiar face at Sullivan Tire events throughout the baseball season.
"We are looking forward to a great season of baseball and serving the motoring public throughout New England again this year," Mr. Sullivan said.
