BETHESDA, Md.—The Auto Care Association (ACA) and the U.S. Department of Commerce will co-host a free March 8 webinar on business opportunities in the automotive industry in Costa Rica.
Starting at 2 p.m. Eastern time, the webinar will provide participants with a country profile, market information, best business prospects and details of the ACA's May 21-22 trade mission to Costa Rica.
Participants in the webinar will hear first-hand commercial insights from the U.S. Commercial Service in Costa Rica, and will have an opportunity to ask questions on specific issues, the association said.
The U.S. is Costa Rica's main trading partner, accounting for 47 percent of Costa Rica's total imports, according to the ACA. Under the Central America-Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement, all U.S. consumer and industrial good exports to the region are no longer subject to tariffs, it said.
Registration is available online.
