WAUKEGAN, Ill. — Atturo Tire Corp. is now backing its Atturo Trail Blade X/T tire with a 45,000-mile treadwear warranty, four years after it was launched as one of the first "multi-terrain" tires.
Atturo describes the Trail Blade X/T as a tire type that slots in between traditional mud-terrain (M/T) and all-terrain (A/T) tires, offering the off-road ability of an M/T and the road feel of a highway tire.
Adding a mileage warranty adds value to consumers seeking the assurance of durability along with performance across a variety of surfaces, Atturo said.
The Waukegan-based private brand marketer did not offer a warranty initially because the tire was one of the first in the then-new hybrid all-terrain segment, according to Atturo Vice President Michael Mathis.
Since then, Atturo has tracked the product's performance in the field, giving it the confidence to initiate treadwear warranty coverage as a way to "further distinguish" the product in a growing segment.
The X/T is available in 23 sizes, ranging in size from 235/65R17 to LT345/50R24. Atturo sources the Trail Blade X/T from Svizz One Corp. Ltd. of Thailand.
In addition, Atturo offers a three-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in material and workmanship on all of its tires and treadwear warranties on its AZ610 SUV/CUV tire(60,000 miles); AZ800 high-performance tire (40,000); and Trail Blade A/T all-terrain tire (50,000).
