Tire Business publisher Dave Zielasko to keynote Va. dealer event

RICHMOND, VA. — Dave Zielasko, vice president, publisher and editorial director of Tire Business, will be the opening keynote speaker or the Virginia Automotive Association's 2018 Convention & Trade Expo, April 13-15.

The event at the Omni Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va., also will feature:

• Author and business coach Richard Flint, who will lead a closed session for owners on "Hiring the Right People" and deliver the closing keynote on "Making Your Life Simply Simple;"
• Industry trainer Joe Ferguson, who will discuss how sales and service personnel can sell maintenance;
• Automotive Training Institute Vice President Bryan Stasch, who will present "Welcome to the Days of Digital"; and
• "Peer to Peer Roundtables" — one for owners, moderated by Mr. Zielasko, and one for sales/service personnel, moderated by tire industry veteran/business consultant Dave Crawford and Mr. Stasch.

The meeting also will hold a trade expo and reception on the evening of April 14, followed by the Next Generation Automotive Professionals Reception, open to all attendees under 40.
