Owners of 2008 Toyota Corolla and Matrix models with 1ZZ-FE engines may complain that their ABS and/or cruise control light flashes while the car is being driven.
In some cases, the air conditioning system may stop working when the warning light(s) illuminate.
According to Toyota, all these symptoms are most likely due to software glitches in the PCM. Installing a new module and programming it with the latest software should eliminate further trouble.
Check with a dealer for the specifics of the flash.
