NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone Americas Inc. has promoted Marisa Blank to executive director of sales, commercial OTR tires, tasked with developing sales growth strategies for the mining and construction industries and related segments, including aggregates, ports, roads and bridges.
Ms. Blank joined Bridgestone in 2010 and most recently was director of OE account management for the company's North American consumer tire business.
Over the last seven years, Bridgestone said she helped advance the OE consumer business by developing and executing effective customer-centric plans. Her first position at Bridgestone was account manager for Toyota.
Bridget Neal, president, off-the-road tires for Bridgestone Americas, lauded Ms. Blank's "extensive sales background, analytical skills and wealth of industry knowledge" as reasons for her promotion.
"We are confident that she will successfully guide our OTR sales team to provide best-in-class customer service in this ever-evolving industry driven by data and technology," Ms. Neal said.
She fills a post left vacant since last August when Ms. Neal was promoted to her current positon.
Prior to joining Bridgestone, Ms. Blank held other positions within the automotive industry including with Akzonobel, Idemitsu Lubricants and Dow Chemical.
