LONG BEACH, Calif.—DENSO Products and Services Americas Inc., the training affiliate of global automotive supplier DENSO Corp., has added three training classes to the DENSO Technical Training Program.
The new classes, part of the training program's wide selection of instructor-led automotive repair courses, were developed to ensure that auto technicians have the diagnostic and troubleshooting expertise to repair vehicles efficiently and correctly, DENSO said.
The new courses are as follows:
- Chrysler Drivability & Code Diagnostics;
- Cummins 5.9L & 6.7L Common Rail Diesel; and
- Duramax LML & LGH Diesel Engine Emission Diagnostics.
With these new classes, DENSO now offers a total of 39 classes through the DENSO Automotive Technical Academy (DATA), the company said.
The full and half-day use a "shop-up methodology" that emphasizes hands-on training, according to DENSO.
More than 17,300 auto technicians have completed at least one DENSO course since the company established the Technical Training Program 12 years ago, the company said.
