Ford says that some 2007 Lincoln MKZ models may hesitate when accelerating from a stop or slow crawl.
Owners may also report that the transmission upshifts are delayed when climbing a hill.
One likely cause for both problems are software anomalies in the PCM and TCM. Reprogramming both modules with updated software should eliminate the troubles.
