TRAVERSE CITY, Mich — International tire distributor Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. has extended its brand ambassador partnership with professional golfer Jodi Ewart Shadoff for a third year.
Ms. Shadoff, an ambassador for Omni's flagship Radar brand, has represented the firm in Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tournaments throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia during the past two years. She carries a Radar-branded golf bag and dons the logos on her golf caps and apparel.
She also has worked with Omni to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), a nonprofit committed to raising breast-cancer prevention awareness, while also working to find cure for the disease.
"I am proud to be representing a brand that is both socially and environmentally responsible and believes in giving back to society," Ms. Shadoff said. "I am looking forward to a great 2018 season and aim to further improve my game this year."
The partnership with BCRF resulted last year in the "Birdies for BCRF" initiative, done in support of the nonprofit's Play for P.I.N.K partner. Throughout the month of October, both Omni and Ms. Shadoff donated $100 for every birdie she made during tournament play.
These efforts, along with $21,800 in donations from around the world, combined with Radar Tire's annual $50,000 commitment, bring the tire firm's six-year donation total to more than $1.12 million.
"We are proud to have Jodi Ewart Shadoff represent our brand across the continents and I am very thankful to her for partnering with us on our social responsibility initiatives," GS Sareen, founder and CEO of Omni United said.
