BETHESDA, Md. — "Top Business Challenges for 2018 in the Auto Care Industry" is the theme of a one-hour teleforum sponsored by the Auto Care Association's Manufacturers' Rep Council and scheduled for Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
Richard Schwartz, managing partner of Schwartz Advisors L.L.C., will be the moderator for the teleforum, which will also feature the following speakers:
- Corey Bartlett, president and CEO, Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc.;
- Bruce Tartaglione, senior vice president, global marketing and sales, Airtex/ASC; and
- Dan Griffin, senior director, global aftermarket, sales engineering and finance, Dana Inc.
"With the U.S. auto care industry's current growth and projected value to reach $421.2 billion by 2020, there are a host of considerations for aftermarket professionals to continue this growth," the ACA said.
The teleforum will share key insights regarding the 2018 business climate in relation to the auto care industry, the ACA said. It will address the current state of the independent installer, the situation of e-commerce versus brick-and mortar retail, industry consolidation and parts proliferation.
This will be the first in a series of teleforums designed to enable ACA members to take their businesses to the next level in 2018, the association said.
