RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Sumitomo Rubber North America Inc.'s Falken brand is offering auto enthusiasts a chance at cash prizes for sharing photos of their favorite rides.
The Falkenspotting Photo Contest, which asks participants to submit original photos of vehicles outfitted with Falken tires, is open to individuals ages 18 and older living in the U.S.
Participants must have the rights to the photos they enter, and can make their submissions at Falkentires.com/contest.
Contest photos will be judged by renowned motorsports photographer Larry Chen on:
- Originality and creativity;
- Commercial appeal;
- Overall quality; and
- Success in representing the Falken brand.
Each month, Mr. Chen will select three winners, who will awarded first-, second- or third-place cash prizes of $500, $300 and $200, respectively.
"Falken has consistently chosen unique programs to generate exposure and excitement for the brand and the results show in our loyal fan base," Nick Fousekis, Falken's director, advertising and promotion said in a statement.
"This program gives a little back in the way of exposure and recognition for exceptional photography to the fans of Falken and our end consumers."
