Forgeline to rep Team Dynamics wheel brand

DAYTON, Ohio — Forgeline Motorsports L.L.C. has struck a deal with British custom wheel maker Rimstock Ltd. to become the designated North America distributor for Rimstock's Team Dynamics line of alloy racing wheels.

The Team Dynamics line covers a wide array of target vehicles, Forgeline said, including BMW, Lotus, Spec Miata, formula cars and the Ariel Atom, as well as rally wheels for brands including Audi, Ford, Subaru and Volkswagen.

The agreement calls for Forgeline to handle the sales, customer service, shipping and warranty of all Team Dynamics wheels sold in North America.

Rimstock has closed its Team Dynamics USA office in Ontario, Calif., and is referring all customer calls to Forgeline, which is stocking both completed Team Dynamics wheels as well as blank wheels, which Forgeline will finalize for custom applications with special offsets, center bores and bolt patterns.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Matt Neal, a six-time British Touring Car champion and Rimstock brand ambassador, said the partners anticipate that their separate product lines "will complement each other perfectly," giving U.S. motorsports and tuning enthusiasts a one-stop destination for quality wheels.

Forgeline President Dave Schardt said the combination of Team Dynamics and Forgeline will allow Forgeline to "be able to supply everyone from a beginner HPDE driver to a professional racing team and everything in between."

Dayton-based Forgeline has designed and manufactured one- and three-piece forged aluminum street-performance and racing wheels for the past 20 years.

West Bromwich, England-based Rimstock produces a range of cast and forged alloy wheels under multiple brand and line names, including the Team Dynamics competition brand.
