WASHINGTON — The Senate has confirmed Susan Parker Bodine as assistant administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA).
Ms. Bodine comes to the EPA from the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, where she was chief counsel since January 2015.
She previously served at the EPA under President George W. Bush, as assistant administrator for solid waste and emergency response.
Additionally, she was a partner at Barnes & Thornburg L.L.P. for nearly six years, from 2009 to 2015.
