SINGAPORE — International tire distributor Omni United (S) Pte. Ltd. has been recognized with the Enterprise 50 Award for a fifth consecutive year during a ceremony held recently in Singapore.
The E50 awards recognize local privately held businesses that contribute to the economic development of Singapore at home and abroad.
The award is jointly organized by The Business Times and KPMG, and supported by the International Enterprise Singapore, Singapore Business Federation, Singapore Exchange and SPRING Singapore.
Omni United was lauded for its consistent performance and promising future, the tire distributor said. The Singapore-based firm has acquired several distribution businesses in the U.S., while upgrading its product offering by adding new ranges and sizes to its flagship brand, Radar Tires.
Omni United also has launched two brands in 2017 — Patriot Tires and American Tourer Tires.
According to Omni, it operates 20 distribution centers in the U.S. that serve more than 15,000 retail outlets, in seven states in the West and South.
G.S. Sareen, founder and CEO of Omni United, said the award "validates that we are on the right path not only in terms of our business strategy but also in our efforts for social responsibility and giving back to the society."
