CARSON, Calif. — APC Automotive Technologies' Centric Parts division has hired Wilson Dias as vice president/general manager of its StopTech brake brand business.
Mr. Dias, who moves to Centric Prats from Honeywell International Inc., will oversee sales, design engineering, procurement, manufacturing and quality for the StopTech business.
Centric Parts President Greg Woo lauded Mr. Dias for his "wealth of experience" in business development, customer management and product portfolio strategies and said his expertise in global manufacturing and supply relationships "will go a long way in helping us to substantially grow and expand our business."
Mr. Dias' hiring is the latest in a series of personnel moves for Centric Parts as its positions itself for growth in its core brake system and chassis components businesses.
Other recent moves include:
- Mr. Woo, a 28-year industry veteran, promoted to president of the Centric Parts, Qualis Automotive and StopTech businesses.
- Paul Wise, hired as vice president, corporate marketing and communications, in part to help drive a cohesive brand strategy and an overarching corporate marketing plan in support of the company's growth objectives. His industry experience included time with Schrader International and Gates Corp.
- James Tucci, hired as vice president of operations, responsible for the company's warehouse, manufacturing, and re-manufacturing operations. His experience includes executive positions with home improvement products supplier Prime-Line Products and truck and trailer parts distributor Fleetpride Inc.
