YC Rubber adding 13 sizes to Duraturn line

LAS VEGAS — YC Rubber Co. L.L.C. is adding 13 sizes to its Duraturn brand lineup, including eight sizes for the Mozzo Touring and Travia H/T lines.

The company made the announcement at the recent Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.

The Mozzo Touring line features three new sizes: 235/65R17, 235/60R17 and 215/55R17, bringing to 28 the number of sizes available in North America. The tire, designed for sedans and crossovers, is backed by a 70,000-mile limited treadwear warranty and 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

The Travia H/T has five new sizes: 255/70R16, 245/75R16, 265/65R18, 265/65R18 and 265/60R18, bringing to 31 the number of available sizes. The Travia H/T, designed for CUVs and SUVs, has a 60,000-mile limited treadwear warranty and 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

The Travia A/T gains three sizes: 245/70R17, 275/70R18 and 275/65R20, bringing to 28 the number of available sizes. This all-terrain, light truck tire comes with a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty and combines a five-rib tread design and specially designed tread blocks, which the company said results in better wear on the road and extra traction off the road.

One size is being added to the Travia van lineup — 235/65R16 — and an additional size — 215/55R17 — is being added to the studless Mozzo winter tire.

"We're continuing to work with our dealers to identify other sizes that will benefit their businesses and expect to add more sizes in 2018," said Ken Coltrane, vice president of YC Rubber Co. North America, the Pasadena-based firm that distributes the tires in the U.S.
