LAS VEGAS — When it comes to the Special Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, color matters.
Nobody knows that better than Pirelli Tyre S.p.A., which showed off its color edition P-Zero tires during the event, held Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Milan-based tire maker displayed several of its color edition tires — in red, yellow, green, white and silver.
According to the Pirelli website, the color collection offers consumers the opportunity to add a splash of color to their vehicles with the addition of the color sidewall option. Released in March at the Geneva International Auto Show, the product offerings were inspired by the Formula 1 tires, where the color of the sidewall identifies the specific rubber compound used in the tire.
The color on the sidewall of the road tires do not indicate a specific compound, but instead provides car enthusiasts with the chance to add character and color to their most beloved vehicles.
