PHILADELPHIA — In honor of Veterans Day, SimpleTire said it is donating 5 percent of all its online tire sales made on Nov. 10 to Wounded Warriors Family Support (WWFS).
"SimpleTire's continued support throughout the years has been amazing," said Col. John D. Folsom, USMCR, founder and president of WWFS. "Each of their donations makes a real impact in the lives of military families who have had a member wounded or killed while serving."
WWFS is an independent nonprofit organization that provides support to families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed in combat operations.
"We are very grateful for all the men and women who have risked so much to protect our country and freedoms. The emotional, psychological and financial burden that fallen or injured veterans and their families endure is unimaginable. This donation is a small gesture expressing our deepest gratitude and support for their service," said SimpleTire CEO Andy Chalofsky.
SimpleTire is an online tire retailer that sources tire inventory from independent tire suppliers across the country. The company sells tires in all categories, including passenger, light truck, commercial, agriculture and OTR.
