100th RNR Tire Express set to open in Sarasota

SARASOTA, Fla. — Matt King, an RNR Tire Express franchisee for the past 15 years, has opened the franchise program's 100th store, a converted NAPA Auto Parts location, in Sarasota.

The new store, a 5,000-sq.-ft., four-bay building on Washington Boulevard, about a mile north of downtown Sarasota and 10 miles south of the next closest RNR store, in Bradenton, Fla., is Mr. King's seventh RNR location in Florida.

The Sarasota opening is the 30th new RNR location to open in the past 30 months, according to RNR Tire Express Founder and President Larry Sutton, who has ownership stakes in 15 locations himself.

"This is a really exciting time in our brand's history, as we are entering new markets and opening stores at a record pace," Mr. Sutton said.

"RNR continues to succeed and grow as people seek more affordable options when it comes to quality tires and wheels; due to the demand for our pay-as-you-go model we plan to add an additional 16 stores to our roster before the end of the year."

RNR plans to hold a grand-opening celebration in Sarasota on Nov. 18.
