COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Global Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. (GRI), the Colombo-based industrial tire manufacturer, has hired Maury Shnier as its sales and marketing director for the Americas.
Mr. Shnier comes to GRI from Camso Inc., where he was executive director, sales and operations for Camso's Material Handling Aftermarket Division, GRI said.
At GRI, Mr. Shnier will lead the company's efforts to expand its sales, distribution and dealer network in the Americas, focusing on agriculture and construction tires, according to the company.
"Having established itself as a trusted and reliable supplier of high-quality industrial tires for material handling applications, GRI will be significantly expanding its product offerings into agriculture and construction tires with the grand opening of its new factory in 2018," the company said.
GRI's Americas sales office is located in Canton, Ga., with satellite offices/distribution centers in Indianapolis and Louisville.
