LAS VEGAS — Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. unveiled its new Cooper Discoverer True North winter tire at the SEMA Show now running through Nov. 3 in Las Vegas.
The Discoverer True North offers the outstanding performance, exceptional reliability, cutting-edge technology and premium features that can be found only in the Discoverer line, according to Cooper.
Designed to provide the perfect combination of control and handling in winter conditions, the Discoverer True North features a pliable tread compound that remains flexible in the cold, the tire maker said.
The flexible tread offers supreme control in snow and slush while maintaining a smooth, quiet and comfortable ride, it said.
Cooper has given the Discoverer True North its Weather-Master certification for giving superior performance in winter driving conditions while maintaining a quiet and comfortable ride, the company said.
Cooper will make the Discoverer True North available in 17 sizes beginning in fall 2018, and dealers may place orders for the tire in spring 2018, Cooper said.
The Discoverer True North may be seen at Cooper's booth in the SEMA Show, Booth #43019.
