LAS VEGAS — The Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association, a community of the Auto Care Association, has presented four annual awards honoring excellence in the auto aftermarket industry.
Bill Maggs, president and CEO of the National PRONTO Association, won the Jack Creamer Leader of the Year Award.
Mr. Maggs, who is also co-CEO of the Automotive Parts Services Group and co-CEO of 1 Parts Global Aftermarket Services, won the Creamer Award for contributing to the industry in a unique and significant way, according to the AWDA.
Thomas C. Gallagher, former president and CEO of Genuine Parts Co., won the Martin Fromm Lifetime Achievement Award for his unselfish commitment to, and high level of performance within, the automotive aftermarket industry, the association said.
The NAPA/Genuine Parts LEAD Store Manager Training Program won the Art Fisher Memorial Scholarship Award in recognition of its outstanding commitment to education and training, the AWDA said.
Corey Bartlett, president and CEO of Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. in St. Cloud, Minn., won the Pursuit of Excellence Award for excellence in business performance and setting an example for others to follow, the association said.
All the winners were honored at the AWDA's 70th annual conference, which was held in Las Vegas Oct. 28-30.
