BETHESDA, Md. — The Auto Care Association (ACA) has hired Kirsten Zaremba to fill the new position of senior director, marketing.
Ms. Zaremba most recently was the senior retail marketing manager at Volkswagen Group of America.
In the newly created role, Ms. Zaremba will lead the ACA marketing team's strategic direction for marketing and sales efforts across all association properties, programs and products, the ACA said.
She will be responsible for driving awareness of the ACA, growing the market for its products and services, and overseeing digital product sales strategies.
Ms. Zaremba is expected to establish an online marketing vision for the association that will be transformed into a coherent digital marketing strategy, aimed at increasing sales and growing market and sponsorship opportunities, the ACA said.
During her nearly two decades at Volkswagen, Ms. Zaremba held several roles spanning across sales marketing, product launch and new car retail marketing. In her most recent role, she led traditional and progressive media strategies, long-term strategy for marketing initiatives, competitive analysis and generating engagement across dealer networks, and local marketing associations spanning the country.
Prior to her tenure at Volkswagen, Ms. Zaremba worked at Tenneco Inc. and Federal-Mogul Motorparts.
