COLUMBUS, Ohio — Off-road parts retailer 4 Wheel Parts has opened a retail store in Columbus, its third parts and service store in the Buckeye state and 84th in North America.
The 10,000-sq.-ft., six-bay store is on the city's far west side, at the intersection of I-270 and West Broad Street/U.S. Route 40.
The new store — which occupies an existing piece of commercial real estate converted to its new purpose — will host a grand opening on Oct. 21 with a live DJ and prize drawings throughout the day, including a $1,000 4 Wheel Parts shopping spree.
The Compton, Calif.-based company only recently opened its second Ohio store, in Cincinnati. The other 4 Wheel Parts is in Cleveland.
Transamerican Auto Parts, 4 Wheel Parts' parent firm, also operates a 4 Wheel Drive outlet in Columbiana, Ohio, which is a stand-alone business that caters exclusively to Jeep owners and has an extensive online business.
