BETHESDA, Md. — Podcast host Carm Capriotto won the 2017 Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award from the Auto Care Association (ACA).

Also, National PRONTO Association, MOTOR Information Systems and Genuine Parts Co./NAPA won the association's Auto Care Career and Education (ACE) awards.

Mr. Capriotto's "Remarkable Results Radio" podcast is "The Voice of the Aftermarket," according to the ACA. The program spotlights personal stories of achievement of numerous service professionals, it said.

Mr. Capriotto released his 260th episode in September 2017, the ACA said.

Grapevine, Texas-based PRONTO is recognized in the Small Company category for training and education opportunities for employees, the ACA said. The company dedicates a significant portion of its budget to training and education, and also provides employees with a variety of training and education materials, it said.

Troy, Mich.-based MOTOR is recognized in the Medium-Sized Company category for developing two key learning programs, SEED and M-Talks, according to the ACA.

SEED, the Software Engineering Education and Development Program, places employees in a six-month technology skills program designed to develop and refine employees' software expertise, the association said.

M-Talks offers monthly presentations to deepen knowledge and understanding across a wide variety of business topics, it said.

Atlanta-based NAPA is noted in the Large Company category for its robust training department, its train-the-trainer sessions and its LEAD Store Manager Training program, the ACA said.

Mr. Capriotto and the three companies will be honored at the 2017 ACA Fall Leadership Days in San Francisco Oct. 6-8, the association said.
