GARDENA, Calif. — Tireco Inc.'s Milestar Tire brand has relaunched its website, designed especially for mobile users.
According to the company, the website, www.milestar.com, was developed using responsive web design, which allows it to be mobile- and tablet-friendly. The site was designed to showcase news, features and available sizes, and the company said it will serve as the hub for consumers looking to interact with the brand.
"We're excited to launch a new website that helps tell our story and allows for ease of use, navigation, and search," said Andrew Hoit, Tireco's vice president of sales and marketing. "We're dedicated to providing our dealers and consumers the best, most reliable information available for our products, and the new site is just one of many tools we are launching to support this initiative."
Tireco said the site features a new, real-time-database size and application search for up-to-date tire sizing. The Easy Locator allows users to search for Milestar-authorized dealer locations. The site's Lifestyle section explores consumer interactions through Milestar's Facebook and Instagram social channels.
The website is designed to be expandable and scalable, so new sections and features can be updated. As Milestar expands patterns and sizes, the company said the site will serve as a portal for dealers and consumers to learn more about the brand and its product.
Tireco recently added Grantland AP, an all-purpose light truck tire line, to its Milestar brand.
Tireco, a Gardena-based, private brand marketer and distribution company, owns and distributes the Milestar, Geostar, Geotrac, Nanco and Tracguard brands, and also distributes the Nankang and WestLake brands exclusively in North America.
